Pricing Transparency

Alameda Health System recognized the importance of patients’ access to pricing information.  Our standard pricing file includes information from our chargemaster, and payer contracting but does not include patient insurance liability information. If you have insurance coverage, we encourage you to contact your insurance provider to confirm your coverage and patient liability information. You may be eligible for Financial Assistance. (this should be a hyperlink to the financial assistance application).  Alameda Health System Hospital’s (Highland Hospital, Fairmont Hospitla, Alameda Hospital, San Leandro Hospital, and John George Psychiatric Hospital) charge files intent to comply with the CMS pricing transparency requirements.

• The hospitals charge files do not include the patient insurance liability such as deductibles, copayments, potential self-pay or financial assistance discounts.
• The available pricing is in effect for the applicable time period and may occur prior to the publication date.  The pricing file is subject to change.  Changes may be related to charges, payer rates, network participation, or other data elements.
