Jeanette Louden-Corbett

In her role as Chief Human Resources Officer, Jeanette Louden-Corbett leads Alameda Health System’s (AHS) charge to recruit and retain the best health care talent in the California and around the country. She plays a central role in building and shaping the organization’s staffing strategy. She also provides leadership in oversight of all human resource functions and operations, along with strategy and stewardship to the AHS executive team with regard to human resource issues, guidance and support for all human resource directors within the system.
 
A veteran of health care human resources with a career spanning 20 years, Ms. Louden-Corbett works each day to provide best-in-class human resources to better serve the needs of a highly diverse patient population at a time of great transition in public health care.
 
Ms. Louden-Corbett joined AHS in 2007 following a stint as Vice President of Human Resources at Valley Emergency Physicians. Prior to that, she was a human resource leader for the Kaiser Permanente East Bay Service Area which included all Kaiser hospitals and medical clinics in Alameda County. This experience embedded her in the East Bay human resource community and gave her valuable experience and perspective on the realities of the area’s health care talent pool.
 
Ms. Louden-Corbett began her career at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management as Deputy Regional Director. She was responsible for recruitment, labor and employee relations policy and was the chief negotiator for internal labor contracts. She later joined the Federal Aviation Administration as manager of human resources where she successfully directed employment, labor relations, training and organizational development.
 
Ms. Louden-Corbett began her work in the private sector with positions at business consulting firms Coopers and Lybrand, and Booz Allen and Hamilton. There she gained expertise in research, design implementation of projects in the areas of quality improvement, compensation systems, performance management productivity and employee grievance systems.

Ms. Louden-Corbett holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York.
